I was a young 18 year old Georgia boy in 1976. My first vote was for Jimmy Carter, the one and only time I've ever voted Democrat. That will change this year should Graham win the nomination tomorrow.

I've said a number of times that I will vote AGAINST Graham, regardless of who his competition is. I'd rather have a socialist Democrat than a RINO.

So long as we keep rewarding abysmal behavior from Republican officials we'll keep getting cranks like Graham. One definition of insanity is continuing to do what you've been doing while expecting a different result. I'm done with that!

So the answer to your question is yes, I will vote for the Democrat should Graham get the nomination. And I'll even campaign for the Democrat. I think it's that important to dump this dog.

I'm voting Witherspoon, too. Is there a Democratic challenger should Graham keep the Republican primary? And if so, would you vote Dem?

I don't think anyone is even doing any polling on the question. If they are, I can't find it. I've searched Google, RealClearPolitics, etc., and found nothing.

The conventional wisdom is that Graham is a shoe-in. Of course, he's nervous enough to have spend quite a bit on TV and radio commercials in the last few weeks. That implies that he is at least a little worried despite his rhetoric to the contrary.

I wish I was confident enough to make a prediction but I am not. I know there is a tremendous amount of disgust for Graham among conservatives. Will that translate into turnout at the polls tomorrow? I guess we'll have to wait until tomorrow to find out. I will certainly be there to vote for Witherspoon.
