Defeat Graham Blogroll

I’ve been searching the internet for like minded bloggers who are blogging against Lindsey Graham. I’ve found a few but I’m convinced there are many more. So I’m starting the Defeat Lindsey Graham blogroll. Like other blogrolls there are a couple of requirement. First, you have to add the blogroll code (below) to your blog. Once you’ve done that, shoot an email to ron@ronsmusings.com letting me know your blog URL. Once I get that email and verify that you have the code on your site, I’ll add you to the blogroll. It’s that simple.

Your blog does not have to be devoted solely to defeating Lindsey Graham. I do expect, however, that you will at least have a post or two devoted to the subject and you should have a generally conservative blog. If you run a liberal blog, don’t bother trying to join. I’m not interested in promoting liberal blogs.

Shortly I’ll be posting a few banners for you to use or you can make your own. Using a banner isn’t required but it does attract attention to this cause.

If you support defeating Lindsey Graham join up. If you know someone else who might be interested, send them this way. We need all the help we can get!

Help Wanted

If you are interested in seeing Lindsey Graham defeated and you can lend assistance to the effort here on this site, I’d like to hear from you.  I need people who will do research on Lindsey Graham’s record, write pieces about Lindsey Graham and will help with organizing around the state.

I had a number of people remind me just how difficult it can be to unseat an incumbent.  While I understand that this could be a difficult project, I am convinced that it will be easier than defeating most incumbents.  Graham is in his first term and he has squandered the good will he had coming in.  Many, many conservatives around the state who voted for Graham in 2002 will not be excited about supporting him again in ‘08.  I believe we have a real opportunity here.

In addition to the work needed to expose all of Graham’s actions in the Senate that work against conservatism, we also need to think about recruiting a conservative to oppose him.  I’ve state that I am prepared to support a Democrat if that is what it takes but it certainly isn’t my preference.  Our job will be much easier if there is a solid conservative candidate to challenge Graham in the primary but that isn’t likely unless conservatives work in concert to find and recruit that candidate.  It is a given that the Republican machine will be behind Graham so we need to start early to work against that.

So I am making a general call for all who want to see Graham defeated.  If you can help in any way at all, I need to hear from you.  You can leave a comment here or you can email me at ron@rongoodwyne.com.
